I bought an exercise ball a few weeks ago in hopes that it would give me something new to try out to keep me motivated to work out. The boys pulled it out today in boredom and so I spent the next 45 minutes bouncing Andrew and Zach on it then bouncing them onto the couch; then the boys would lay on it and hold on while I rolled them back and forth. At least it's getting used, huh? (And I sure got a workout - my arms were tired after bouncing 37-pound Zach on it then onto the couch! Maybe it wasn't a waste of money...)
It has been so cold here in Albuquerque. Tonight the boys and I went to Wal-Mart while Rhett had the Young Men at our house and the temperature gage in the van dropped 25 degrees in the first few minutes of our trip - from 47 (the car had been in the garage) all the way down to 22 degrees. That's not even fun...
I have been working for the past week or so on getting ready for a little preschool that I am going to do with Zach and a couple of other children from the ward. I'm actually really excited about it and everywhere I look I find new ideas for it. I just love teaching children and seeing the excitement on their faces when they learn something new - I guess that's why I'm a mom, eh??
Buy the way - I have kept my New Year's resolution to work out at least 3 times a week so far - yea, me!!

Oh please girl, 25 degrees has been our high here in freezing Logan. It was -14 this morning. Didn't your blood thicken while you lived here, or has it thinned a little since living in NM. Good for you keeping your resolution to work out so far. Keep up the good work! You're an great mom.
I had one of those exercise balls for about 3 years and I can count on one hand the times I used it, pathetic I know! The preschool sounds so fun, good for you. I'm also working on my working out as a new years resolution. Way to go!
The best thing that ever happened to my workout was my friend Becky. We get together 3 times a week and motivate each other. Not sure I would get as good of a workout without someone there with me. I applaud you guys for being more self-motivated than I. But anyway it gets done is good, right?
Way to go on the preschool. Please let me know the ideas you are coming up with. I would love to learn from you. You always put together the best things!
Thanks guys... make me feel guilty that I am the only Peterson girl that didn't make a new years resolution to work out. I'm putting on the pounds for now!!!
So sorry about Zach's broken leg! Man, that's crazy! Enjoy the cold for us. We miss the snow, that's for sure. It was fun to read about your week of living off of what you have. That was cool. I had no doubt you'd be just fine. You're very organized. Porter is growing up. Loved seeing his birthday pics. Andrew is darling. He's growing up quickly. He's got a cute little face. Thanks for keepin' up on the blog. I love reading it and seeing the pictures. So do the kids. :)

Yeah for you doing your work outs!!! It has been so cold here so walking at night hasn't been easy for us, I keep trying to motivate myself to keep up at the gym, but what can I say- I've already slacked on my resolutions and it's only the first month!!!
