This morning, Porter and Zach woke up sick, so we took a lazy day. We've watched plenty of morning cartoons, three movies - The Three Amigos (Porter's new favorite - something to get them off Spaceballs), Muppets in Space, and Transformers. And Andrew's watching Nemo. I've taken advantage of the down time and made spaghetti sauce, carrot puree, sweet potato puree, and butternut squash puree (I'm trying some recipes from Jessica Seinfield's book
Deceptivly Delicious). Tomorrow is bagels and maybe english muffins. I really like lazy days...

Wow... that's a lot of food. How nice to have the free time (and hands) to do it. You'll have to post about the recipes you make that the kids like!!
Im sorry you've got sick kids! I would love to learn what you do with all those puree's and how to make english muffins! you will have to share!
I'm with Jenny, make sure you post the recipes! And that sure doesn't sound like a lazy day to me...lots of work! Way to go!
Yeah for the Three Amigos. That is my all-time favorite movie. Greg and I will have to have a quoting war with Porter next time we see him.
Hope your boys start feeling better!
