Growing Up

Andrew's new favorite thing is getting a drink of water from the dispenser on the fridge. He gets a cup and stands on his tippy toes and reaches as far as he can to get the cup up to the button that turns on the water. He gets some water in his cup, then drinks the water; afterwards feeling very proud of himself. It would all be great and wonderful except for the fact he's usually drenched after drinking his water (he's still perfecting drinking out of a big cup), the floor is usually wet and he gets a new cup everytime, therefore he gets out and has scattered about a half a dozen cups a day. It's sure cute to watch him, though.

His other new thing is to pout. And when he is pouting, his bottom lip sticks out. Lately, he also closes his eyes when he doesn't want people to see him or if he is shy. This morning, he was quite upset at Rhett because he had to sit in his big highchair for breakfast. When I came downstairs, he was pouting and when I would look at him, he would closed his eyes. Every few seconds he would open his eyes to see if I was still looking and if I was, he would close them again. Rhett and I just laugh everytime he does it; although we both think he's way too young to have this kind of attitude yet!

I really can't believe how big he is already. Shouldn't you get started on another one if your still planning on 6?

I was laughing when I read that because our fridge has the water inside and it is annoying to stand with the door open to get your water (came with the house that way) but then I though Tori would do the same thing so now I am GREATFUL for it being inside!!!
