Here we go again...

One of my new year's goals is to work out and get back in shape. And I'm getting a little help from Zach...he broke his leg again last Wednesday - same leg, same place as last time - so we're back to carrying him around everywhere for the next 4 1/2 weeks. This time I'm not quite sure how it happened...all I know is that he got in a fight with the door jam and lost. He has a spiral fracture in his lower right leg which hopefully didn't injure his growth plate. He was so excited to get a cast this time and had his color picked out two days before we even went to the orthopedic doctor. The nice part is that since he's done this before, he's more familiar with how to get around and can get on and off the couch, up and down the stairs and around by himself, so he's not completely dependant.

FYI - The boy's 37 pounds, so I'm going to have some good-looking biceps in a month!

I thought I was getting a workout carrying 25-pound Savvy around while pregnant. If he breaks his leg again in April, I'll come visit and carry him around... that will for sure put me into labor.

Good luck on your goals. You sure don't NEED to work out at all!

Good luck with that kid in the future! Didn't Porter break his leg as well? What is going on in that house- is social services needed?! By the way- he is a stinkin cute kid!!

I'm so sorry Steph! Poor little Zach. Hope he can recover quickly. How long does he have to have it on this time? Hopefully this will be the last of broken bones for at least a year!

My brother did something similar when he was a kid. He broke one arm, then the other right after. Don't worry, he turned out just fine.
