The boys were so excited to play in it,
they didn't even wait to get dressed.
They just put on their coats, gloves and hats
over their pajamas
and proceeded to throw snowballs
at anything that moved.
Porter spent an hour outside
with his friends after school playing in it.
The funny thing is,
we can't get the boys to play outside
when it's nice and sunny.
But add a little snow
(and chilly temps)
and they don't even have to be asked -
they are out the door.
Hopefully next time we'll get enough for a decent snowman.
Porter and I got up at 2:00 a.m. this morning,
got bundled up in our
long-johns
sweaters
scarves
coats
hats
gloves
boots
blankets
and popcorn heating pads
and sat outside
for a bit over an hour
to watch the Leonid meteor shower.
We saw about a dozen;
but I think enjoyed looking
at all the beautiful stars even more.
There are some perks to living in a little town...

Play in the snow for us. I miss it! We had snow for 3 hours last Friday and Brandon collected enough to make one snowball. I was tempted to come outside and let him throw it at me...but chose to stay inside where it was warm. :)
The kids look great! And Baby Oliver is adorable!
